Medical Missions For Children Opens New York City Chapter

Wednesday, March 12th, 2003, New York City - Medical Missions for Children (MMC), a not-for-profit charity working to elevate the level of care to critically ill children in underserved communities in the US and international communities through technology, opened its New York City Chapter.

There were senior executives from the health sector, corporations and hospitals from New York City, as well as the media who attended the "Launch Party" of The New York City Chapter of Medical Missions for Children and the Global Telemedicine and Teaching Network at Stiffen Court, NYC on Wednesday, March 12, 2003. Several Board members and the staff of MMC were also present at the cocktail party.

Following the introduction made by Mr. Cenk Aydin, the President of the NYC Chapter, Mr. Frank Brady, the Founder and the Chairman of the MMC gave a video and slide presentation about the activities and operations of MMC.

Today, Mr. Brady serves as pro-bono Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Medical Missions for Children. Since its founding in 1999, hundreds of children have been helped directly and thousands indirectly through education. MMC has been honored at the UN by the National Hispanic Medical Association and received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for their outstanding and invaluable service to the international community.

MMC is dedicated to providing medical education interchange and comprehensive medical assistance to critically ill children in rural America and developing countries in a timely and sustainable manner. MMC is not dedicated to a singular cause or disease and maintains no political or religious affiliations.
