MMC’s Global Video Library of Medicine (GVLM) is the digital repository of thousands of video-based medical lectures, breaking news programs, symposia and training sessions, all of which serve as a research platform for healthcare providers throughout the world. Drawing upon the medical excellence of such reputable institutions as the National Library of Medicine, the Medical Centers at Harvard, Yale, Johns Hopkins and Columbia, and the Center for Disease Control, the GVLM serves as one of the most reliable sources of clinical and medical research content on the public internet.
Located on the campus of Montclair State University, the GVLM is available to healthcare professionals and lay persons alike. Its fully featured Video-on-Demand capability allows researchers to search for and retrieve valuable medical content at the moments in time when it is needed most. The GVLM also serves as the content source for MMC’s Medical Broadcasting Channel.
In most cases, donating content to the GVLM creates a tax deduction for the donor of up to two times the identified value of the donation.
The GVLM contains world-class medical education content supplied by highly credentialed tier-one hospitals, federal agencies, research centers, and other global organizations.

The GVLM will soon feature a function that will allow users to search the entire catalogue of videos contained in the Library, using the medical keyword system established by the National Library of Medicine. Internet2 users will then be able to watch streaming video pulled from the Library's archives.
